wear yourself/somebody out: to make yourself/somebody feel very tired
- Example:
- The kids have totally worn me out.
- You'll wear yourself out if you carry on working so hard.
Wear people out = exhaust people = drain people.
creep in (phr.)
creep in/into something: to begin to happen or affect something
- Example: As she became more tired, errors began to creep into her work.
3. Why is it difficult for some people to achieve work-life balance?

I think there are no universally applicable answer, but one of the leading causes of this is that those people are just workaholics. I mean, they put work above all else, regarding other matters of life such as relation or entertainment as unimportance. (Give comment: advantages / disadvantages) This will inevitably lead to an imbalance between life and work, and I think/ and my take is that it can really take a toll on their mental and physical well-being in the long run.
